International Optometrist of the Year Award 2018
On September 19, as part of the inauguration of the 2018-2019 academic year, the Faculty of Optics and Optometry of Terrassa presented Professor Konrad Pesudovs with the International Optometrist of the Year Award, 2018 edition.
During the event, held in the monumental complex of the Sant Pere Churches in Terrassa, one of the jewels of Romanesque architecture (9th–12th century), Professor Pesudovs delivered the inaugural lecture, aimed especially at first-year FOOT students, encouraging them to excel academically and personally, and to look beyond books to achieve clinical expertise and a balanced life philosophy.
The presentation of the Clinical Activity logbook was also held for second-year students, serving as documentation of the patients these students will have the opportunity to interact with throughout their degree.
